Good to Know

Earthing is simply connecting with the earth by having direct contact with the ground. It can be done by walking barefoot, sitting or lying down on the ground.  While going on nature walks or hikes are good forms of exercise, they do not accomplish the same things as Earthing. This is because there is a layer of rubber on the bottom of most shoes which block our bodies from connecting with the earth. Any task that creates a direct “skin to ground” contact fits under the category of Earthing.

Why is Earthing good for my body...

Free (-) electrons from the earth transfer into your body via the soles of your feet. These free electrons are some of the most potent antioxidants known to man. Experiments have shown that free electrons from the earth:
Cause Beneficial Changes in Heart Rate
       Decreases Inflammation
       Reduces Pain
       Promotes Healthy Sleep
Thins Your Blood making it less viscous
Ideal locations for Earthing are on the beach, close to or in the water, and on dewy grass. Earthing should be done for at least 30 minutes a day.
